About this course

Our  hands on practical Patient Moving and Handling course, has been specifically designed for care professionals working within the Health and Social care sector. Ensuring competence and compliance in line with current guidelines.

We provide all the required equipment that will be needed to deliver the training at your venue. We provide a mobile hoist for lifting transfers, slide sheets for transfers in and out of bed, and frames for assisting an individual to stand from sitting down. We also have equipment that will demonstrate the spine, and the intervertebral discs that show how poor practice could cause musculoskeletal injuries.

Safe Hands Training regularly run open courses across Stafforshire and the wider area that you can book yourself or employees on to. Alternatively if you prefer, we can do ‘in- house’ training at your own place of work or a suitable external location anywhere in the country.
