About this course
Our Manual Handling and Back care provides learners with the knowledge and skills to safely move objects in the workplace. The Manual Handling Operation Regulations 1992 and The Health and Safety at Work act 1975, require each employer to provide adequate supervision and training, as well as undertake manual handling risk assessments. On this course we also look in depth at the anatomy of the spine and surrounding muscles and ligaments
This course is packed full of practical activities alongside the theory to keep learners interacting and engaged whilst remaining fun, relaxed and informative.
Safe Hands Training regularly run open courses across Staffordshire and the wider area that you can book yourself or employees on to, or alternatively if you prefer, we can do ‘in- house’ training at your own place of work or a suitable external location anywhere in the country.
